As part of African American History Month, we will celebrate the artist Laura Wheeling Waring with a reading of Beautiful Shades of Brown by Nancy Churnin. We will then create our own pictures using only brown crayons and will see for ourselves the many beautiful shades of brown there are! This program is for K-6 children.
