Sayreville Man Convicted At Trial Of Bias-Driven Murder Of Stranger

A Monmouth County Jury this afternoon returned guilty verdicts on the most serious charges against the man who attacked and killed a stranger in Freehold Township four and a half years ago, solely because of the victim’s race.

The defendant will face up to life in state prison without the possibility of parole when he is sentenced in March 2023.

Sincere thanks to our partners with the Freehold Township Police Department and Sayreville Police Department for their invaluable assistance in this case.
