Dr. Mark K. Williams, a Staff Sergeant in the United States Army National Guard, has been recognized for his service since 2008. His contributions include two deployments in support of Operation Enduring Freedom and assistance during various natural disasters. He also played a role during the COVID-19 pandemic by supporting FEMA, assisted with civil unrest, and contributed to the Presidential Inauguration.
Additionally, SSG Williams supported European Allies and took part in a multi-national NATO mission. His service is acknowledged as bringing great credit to himself and the United States military.
The Monmouth County Sheriff expressed pride in saluting SSG Williams for his dedication and service: “SSG Williams has served our Nation and Monmouth County with Honor since 2008... The Monmouth County Sheriff is proud to Salute him for his dedication and service to our Nation.”
