We've come to the end of another growing season at Covenhoven's Colonial Kitchen Garden. We already miss those hot summer days! It's fun to look back on the season's achievements - the crushed clamshell pathways; the amazing generosity and skill of the Eagle Scouts who provided bean trellises, cold frames, a potting bench, a compost bin, and even a period correct wheelbarrow! And the Historical Association is profoundly grateful for the energy and dedication of garden volunteers Joe and Ruth. But even as the days get darker and the temperatures drop, we're already planning next year's spring planting!
