The Monmouth County Commissioners and Middletown Township hosted a press conference this morning to commemorate the 10th Anniversary of #SuperstormSandy. Clerk Hanlon joined mayors from the Bayshore communities, County and State Officials, and first responders at the #PortMonmouth Fire House, which was inundated with water when the storm made landfall.
Commissioner Director Tom Arnone and Middletown Mayor Tony Perry reflected on the significant impact Sandy had on Monmouth County and Middletown, and the strength of our communities to rebuild and restore our neighborhoods and businesses. Fittingly, on National #FirstRespondersDay, first responders were honored for their efforts and vital role in assisting residents during and after the storm.
