Asbury Park Police Director John B. Hayes clarified that local officers were not involved in a recent ICE-related incident near City Hall. Hayes explained legal limits on cooperation with federal immigration authorities under state law.
The City of Asbury Park will host its third annual “Made (and Sold) In Asbury Park” event on April 25 at the Berkeley Oceanfront Hotel. The free marketplace-style gathering features local vendors, live music, and snacks for attendees.
