Wall Township celebrates its 175th anniversary with school events and community support

Wall Township will mark its 175th anniversary on March 7, 2026, commemorating its official incorporation date of March 7, 1851.

Elementary schools throughout the district are organizing special events to honor this milestone. Students will participate in activities focused on learning about the township’s history and their local community.

The Wall Township Committee expressed gratitude to several partners for supporting the celebration. These include the Wall Township Board of Education, Old Wall Historical Society, InfoAge Science & History Museums, local businesses, and residents.

A statement from the committee read: “For 175 years, Wall Township has been defined by its History & Heart — and we look forward to continuing that tradition for generations to come.”
