Former Marlboro High School standout Tyler Villa contributed to the Salisbury Sea Gulls’ 12-2 win over the Oswego State Lakers in NCAA Division III baseball at 2 p.m. on Sunday, March 15.
The matchup, played at Donnie Williams Sea Gull Baseball Stadium, marked the Sea Gulls’ first meeting with the Lakers this season.
Villa pitched six innings, surrendering two earned runs, walking four and striking out eight.
The Sea Gulls will face Oswego State again on Monday, March 16, at 12 p.m. at Donnie Williams Sea Gull Baseball Stadium.
