There is currently police activity involving members of MCPO and the Neptune Township Police Department in the area between Route 33 and 8th Avenue in Neptune Township, between Memorial Drive and Ridge Avenue. This is believed to be an isolated incident, with no known active danger to the surrounding neighborhoods, and local school officials have been notified. Please steer clear of the area as the police activity continues.
