On Friday, March 21, former St. John Vianney Regional High School standout Julia Karpell’s current collegiate team the Fairfield Stags lost 85-41 against the Kansas State Wildcats in the NCAA Division I Basketball Championship Tournament.

Hosted in Memorial Coliseum, this was the first game against the Kansas State Wildcats during the championship.

Julia Karpell’s hometown is Holmdell and game position is guard.
