Creative Expressions Arts & Wellness Program

13

This year at Monmouth Arts we were able to introduce our Creative Expressions Arts & Wellness Program which addresses the rise in mental health issues in our youth due to the COVID-19 pandemic. In 2022, we reached 1,000 students via the Boys and Girls Club (Red Bank, Long Branch, Neptune and Asbury Park), the SOURCE in RedBank, Prosper Foundation in Asbury Park, Freehold Family YMCA, Building Bridges in Neptune, Freehold Rec. and ASTEP in Long Branch.

As we approach the New Year, we are thinking about the youth of our community and the need to continue to provide art therapy through mediums such as painting, music and dance.  We've set a goal of reaching 1,500 students in 2023.
