Commissioner Director Tom Arnone and the Board of County Commissioners announced that 93 nonprofit organizations, located in the County, are being awarded grants in the total amount of over $24 million through the Monmouth County American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) COVID-19 Community Recovery Grant Program.

Each nonprofit organization was eligible to receive up to $500,000 in funding for expenses and/or lost revenue during the Pandemic.

Clerk Hanlon joined the Commissioners, Sheriff Shaun Golden, Surrogate Maureen Raisch and representatives from the organizations at the County press conference yesterday.

Kudos to the County Commissioners for supporting these organizations that do so much for our community, including serving our veterans, combating food insecurity, providing animal welfare services, offering mental health services, supporting the special needs community, and helping to promote and preserve art, historical and cultural resources.
