Cost of college went up for all students at Yeshiva Gedolah Shaarei Shmuel

Tuition and fees rose 14.3 percent for 2018-19 at Yeshiva Gedolah Shaarei Shmuel, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

New Jersey students paid $8,800 to attend the four-year private not-for-profit institution this year – $1,100 more than the $7,700 charged for 2017-18.

Data shows 77 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 20 students received grants or scholarships totaling $106,588.

Including all undergraduates (77), 62 students used grants or scholarships totaling $300,763.
