On Saturday, March 7, Marisa Amitie, a former Wall High School star, and her current team, the Messiah Falcons, were defeated 70-47 by the NYU Violets in the NCAA Division III Basketball Tournament.

The 7:45 p.m. contest took place at John A. Paulson Center and marked the first tournament meeting between the Messiah Falcons and the NYU Violets.
