On Tuesday, April 29, former Freehold Township High School standout Liv Smith’s current college team, the Monmouth Hawks, lost 5-2 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Rutgers Scarlet Knights.

The game took place at Rutgers Softball Complex. This was their first matchup against the Scarlet Knights this season.

The Hawks’ next game is scheduled for Thursday, May 1 at 4 p.m. at Bill Edwards Stadium against Hofstra Pride.
