The Little Silver Borough School District announced on Mar. 25 that it will hold a Community Open House on Wednesday, May 6, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Point Road School and Markham Place School. The event is aimed at neighbors and community members, especially those without children currently enrolled in the district.

The district said the open house is an opportunity to share progress on its referendum construction projects with the wider community. Organizers emphasized that these improvements were made possible by local support and are transforming learning environments for students.

According to the announcement, visitors can take self-guided tours of updated facilities and view completed renovations during the event. District representatives will be present to answer questions from attendees.

While everyone is welcome, officials noted that the event is specifically designed for residents who may not usually visit school buildings. “We look forward to welcoming you and celebrating the evolution of our facilities together!” said organizers in their statement.

The open house reflects ongoing efforts by the Little Silver Borough School District to keep residents informed about changes resulting from recent investments.
