The John Jay Bloodhounds, featuring former Freehold Borough High School standout Danny Opramolla, were defeated 14-6 by the Maritime Privateers in an NCAA Division III baseball matchup on Tuesday, March 17, at 7 p.m.
The contest, held at Reinhart Baseball Field, marked the teams’ first meeting of the season.
Opramolla pitched 1.2 innings, allowing five earned runs, issuing two walks, and recording two strikeouts.
The Bloodhounds are set to face the Farmingdale State Rams at Farmingdale State Baseball Stadium on Thursday, March 26, at 3 p.m.
