Jack Renaud contributes as Lenoir-Rhyne defeats Catawba 5-3 in NCAA Division II matchup

Lenoir-Rhyne Bears claimed a 5-3 victory over the Catawba Indians in their NCAA Division II baseball game Friday, Feb. 27, at 5 p.m. Former Ranney School standout Jack Renaud, now a member of the Bears, participated in the matchup.

The contest was held at Durham Field and marked the teams’ first meeting of the season.

Renaud pitched two innings during the game.

Lenoir-Rhyne is scheduled to play the Catawba Indians again at Durham Field on Saturday, Feb. 28, at 2 p.m.
