The Lenoir-Rhyne Bears, featuring former Ranney School standout Jack Renaud, came up short 14-9 against the Belmont Abbey Crusaders in their NCAA Division II baseball game on Tuesday, March 17, at 5 p.m.

Abbey Yard hosted the contest, marking the first meeting between the two teams this season.

Renaud entered the mound for 0.1 innings.
