Former Freehold Township High School standout Patrick Burns played on Friday, May 16 in hopes of reaching the NCAA Division II Baseball Championship

On Friday, May 16, former Freehold Township High School standout Patrick Burns’ current collegiate team the Belmont Abbey Crusaders won 7-13 against the Lenoir-Rhyne Bears in the NCAA Division II Baseball Championship.

The game took place at Abbey Yard at 6:10 p.m. and was the first matchup against the Lenoir-Rhyne Bears in the tournament.

The Belmont Abbey Crusaders’ next game will take place on Saturday, May 17 at 4:05 p.m. at Abbey Yard.
