Former Allentown High School standout Daniel Merkel played on Saturday, May 17 in hopes of reaching the NCAA Division III Baseball Championship

On Saturday, May 17, former Allentown High School standout Daniel Merkel’s current collegiate team the TCNJ Lions won 4-1 against the Keene State Owls in the NCAA Division III Baseball Championship.

The game took place at PennState Harrisburg Baseball Field at 11:15 a.m. and was the first matchup against the Keene State Owls in the tournament.

The TCNJ Lions’ next game will take place on Saturday, May 17 at 5:30 p.m. at PennState Harrisburg Baseball Field.
