On Friday, March 13, Bates Bobcats, featuring former Ranney School standout Sarah Hughes, were defeated 76-59 by the Scranton Lady Royals in the NCAA Division III Basketball Tournament.

The matchup, which tipped off at 7 p.m. at John Long Center, marked the Bobcats’ first game against the Scranton Lady Royals in the tournament.
