The Asbury Park Senior Center will host free line dancing classes every Monday from March 23 to April 27, according to an announcement on Mar. 12. The sessions will begin at 6 p.m. and are open to participants of all ages.
The program aims to provide a fun and accessible way for community members to stay active and engaged. Instructor Suzanne Parchment will lead the classes, which are designed for both beginners and experienced dancers.
Participants are encouraged to bring water and a towel for comfort during the sessions. Those interested in joining or seeking more information can contact the organizers by emailing recreation@asburypark.gov or calling 732-502-5759.
The initiative reflects ongoing efforts by the Asbury Park Senior Center to offer inclusive recreational opportunities for residents. By welcoming all age groups, the center hopes to foster community connections through shared activities.
Looking ahead, organizers anticipate strong participation and encourage anyone interested in dance or group exercise to attend.
