Asbury Park Senior Center to host Mother’s Day brunch for seniors on May 8

The Asbury Park Senior Center announced on Mar. 13 that it will hold a Mother’s Day Brunch for seniors on May 8 at 11 a.m.

The event is open to all seniors aged 60 and older, offering an opportunity for community members to celebrate together. The brunch aims to provide a festive atmosphere with activities and entertainment tailored for local seniors.

According to the announcement, the celebration will feature catered food, live music, line dancing, a photo booth, and a 50/50 raffle. Seniors interested in attending are encouraged to register by calling 732-988-5252.

Free transportation will be available for residents of Asbury Park who wish to attend the event. The center said this service is intended to make participation accessible for all eligible community members.

The Mother’s Day Brunch reflects ongoing efforts by the Asbury Park Senior Center to engage and support its senior population through social events and inclusive programming.
