Asbury Park releases weekly schedule of meetings and service updates

The City of Asbury Park has released its weekly briefing for the week of February 9-15, 2026. The briefing outlines upcoming city meetings, events, and service updates.

Several city meetings are scheduled throughout the week. The Recreation Committee will meet on Tuesday, February 10 at 5 p.m. in the City Council Chambers. The Housing Authority meeting is set for the same day at 6 p.m. in the Dr. Robinson Towers Social Room. Later that evening, at 7 p.m., the Zoning Board of Adjustment will convene in the City Council Chambers.

On Wednesday, February 11 at 6 p.m., a City Council meeting will take place in the City Council Chambers. The Green Team Committee will meet Thursday, February 12 at 11 a.m., with the location to be determined. Also on Thursday, the Rent Leveling Board will gather at 5 p.m., with its location also yet to be announced. The Wellness Committee is scheduled to meet Friday, February 13 at 1 p.m. in the City Manager’s Conference Room.

Among city-sponsored events, “Movies by the Sea: Home” is planned for Friday, February 13 at 5 p.m. at The ShowRoom Cinema.

There are several service updates and closures this week as well. City Hall will be closed all day on Friday, February 13 in observance of Lincoln’s Birthday. Alternate side parking regulations will also be suspended city-wide that day. On Saturday, February 14, the Public Library will be closed for the entire day.

Residents are encouraged to stay informed by visiting the city’s website and signing up for alerts or newsletters.
