Asbury Park releases weekly schedule of meetings and community events

The City of Asbury Park has released its weekly briefing for the week of February 2-8, 2026. The briefing outlines upcoming city meetings, events, and service updates.

Several city meetings are scheduled throughout the week. The Quality of Life Committee will meet on Monday, February 2 at 5:30pm in the City Council Chambers. The Public Arts Commission meeting, which was rescheduled, will take place the same day at 6pm at Parlor Gallery. However, both the Planning Board meeting originally set for Monday evening and the Sunset Lake Commission meeting planned for Tuesday have been canceled. The Parking Committee is set to convene on Wednesday, February 4 at 5:30pm in the City Council Chambers.

Community events include “Coffee with a Councilmember” on Monday morning from 10 to 11am at MacroBites on Springwood Avenue. On Friday evening, “First Fridays returns with Family Art Night!” will be held from 6 to 8pm at Over the Moon Art Studio across from the Asbury Park Transportation Center parking lot. Seniors are invited to a Valentine’s Day Lunch on Saturday afternoon from 1 to 4pm at the Senior Center.
