The City of Asbury Park has released its weekly briefing for the week of March 2-8, 2026. The briefing, published every Monday afternoon on the city’s website, outlines upcoming city meetings, events, and service updates. Residents are advised that dates and times may change and should check the city’s online calendar for up-to-date information.

Several city meetings are scheduled throughout the week. The Quality of Life Committee will meet on Monday, March 2 at 5:30pm in the City Council Chambers. This will be followed by a Planning Board meeting later that evening at 7pm in the same location. On Tuesday, March 3 at 5:30pm, the Sunset Lake Commission is set to convene in the City Council Chambers. The Parking Committee will hold its meeting on Wednesday, March 4 at 5:30pm.

In addition to official meetings, community members can participate in First Fridays: Family Art Night at Over The Moon on Friday, March 6 from 5pm to 7pm. The event takes place at Over The Moon located at 808 Springwood Ave.

Residents are encouraged to stay informed through several channels provided by the city. These include signing up for city alerts, watching Asbury Park TV, subscribing to the email newsletter, and following social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter/X, and Nextdoor.

Asbury Park was recently recognized as the “2025 Best Small Beach Town in the US” by Travel + Leisure.
