Asbury Park announces meeting schedule and closures for week of Feb. 16-22

The City of Asbury Park has released its weekly briefing for the week of February 16-22, 2026. The update outlines upcoming city meetings, closures, and service changes.

Several public meetings are scheduled this week. The Environmental Shade Tree Commission will meet on Tuesday, February 17 at 7 p.m. in the City Council Chambers. At the same time, the Wesley Lake Commission is set to convene in the City Manager’s Conference Room. The Asbury Park TV Cable Advisory Committee meeting originally planned for Wednesday, February 18 at 6 p.m. at Stephen Crane House has been canceled.

A special meeting of the City Council is scheduled for Wednesday, February 18 at 6 p.m. at Asbury Park High School. On Thursday, February 19 at 7 p.m., the Deal Lake Commission will gather at Interlaken Town Hall.

City services will be affected by closures and adjustments during this period. City Hall will be closed all day on Monday, February 16. The library will not be open on Saturday, February 14 and Monday, February 16. Alternate side parking rules are suspended city-wide on Monday, February 16.
